Did you ever get an answer to your problem? I have successfully booted an LFS setup like yours on WMVare. The key info I needed was from this <http://blog.iandreev.com/?p=729>post. My more full answer appeared on the LFS Support List on July 8th under the title "Cannot Boot LFS from /dev/sdb1 - Receiving Kernel Panic Error." I can send you that full answer as you require, just let me know. v/r Keith -- Dr Keith Shomper Professor of Computer Science Cedarville University Ph: 937 766 3786 FAX: 937 766 7631 Email: kshom...@cedarville.edu
