Additionally, as the conversation at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/work_items/217#note_356989 demonstrates, but which some research into what CSD fundamentally is demonstrates more-so, it is inherently more work. LO is drawing the decorations. That has to be more work, and it's more work for no gain. We can debate the problems with CSDs, but why have them?
