That's also something, along with Yahoo and other web-based group options that have come up in the past as well. The only thing with a web-based group is that it doesn't allow non-web-based users access, and has the limitations of such (hard to archive messages you receive, of interest, etc.). The other problem lies with the access to the postings. It's very/extremely difficult to migrate a web-based group to another site because usually , they do not allow full access to the entire mailing list archive database, but rather one message at a time.
