Subject: Wireless on a 50ct.

I recently purchased a Libretto 50ct on Ebay. I have tried a Linksys and
Orinico Gold cards on it, and I can't get it to recognize either card. I am
currently running Win95 and I have the original 16. MB Ram and less then 1 Gig
Hard drive. What would be the easiest, most foolproof way to get on line.
Should I and can I upgrade to Win98 or do I try another card?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I was able to use a Speedstream card which worked but performance was not that good. It's been some time since I did that but I seem to recall that the card had to be a 16 bit 5v card to work and those are few nowadays. I tried several cards before I found one which would work, including some SMC cards. Unfortunately my Libretto went diving in Katrina so I can't check it out. My Libretto ran Win 95 but had more ram and I had replaced the hard drive. Memory may be a problem.
