I run into it all the time in my works… I simply prefix the syllable with a hyphen (tweaked to match the LyricHyphen) and use self-alignment-X to make it look like it’s doing the right thing. > I agree that LilyPond should be able to handle this, > for example with a predefined command like `\trailingHyphen`.
