Please sign me up for "winning" a speed table or even a speed bump. I'll lobby for one. It will be preferable to risking my life walking to the mailbox, or down the road. To V Saleme and others who commute in town for kids, groceries, etc, the speed deterrents will be well known to you; your car won't be damaged if you are going the recommended speed. No one flies down Winter Street. We'll all just add a few moments to the errands or the commute, and in doing so make our roads much safer for walkers, bicyclists, dogs, children...
