Also did the same for FlashMX and using CTRL+V or EDIT>PAST indeed got the grouping.
However, using EDIT>PASTE SPECIAL it prompts you to either paste as Picture(Metafile) or Text(ASCII) todd -----Original Message----- From: Kyle Smeby [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2003 12:21 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: <lingo-l> ARGH! cut n paste in osx > I never noticed this in the beta: > > open a doc in word. I blame Word, being the over-engineered piece of crap that it is. I usually paste the text from Word into a new email message (or any PLAIN text editor you have handy) then re-copy it from there and paste it where it needs to be. Now that I think about it you should be able to copy from Word, create and open a text field in Director (so Directors little text editor window is open) and paste it in there. hope that helps, kyle [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
