First and foremost, I'd like to form a picture in my mind of the general
level of interest. I'll probably ask elsewhere, too (that is, if the other
places I ask don't preclude cross-posting, like <grrrr>Direct-L</grrrr>).
Knowing what kind of demand there is will help me select an appropriate
publishing plan.

I was initially thinking of something like "The XMLingo Software License,"
and (only as an example, mind you) follow the Apache Software License,
Version 1.1. Redistribution OK (provided conditions are met), "as is"
disclaimer, blah, blah, blah. You know, the whole boilerplate special. Maybe
that's not a good template to go by, but I'm sure there's an appropriate
model out there somewhere.
