Can you genuinely not see how misuse of medical information might hurt you, or how a Government might wish to use it for purposes that we the population may not want or approve of? If you genuinely cannot, then say so and we will try to elucidate. But I fear you are being rhetorically obtuse. Here's what I said to Stephen Duckett. I think it accurately states why I and many others fear that there are hidden/unstated and dangerous objectives behind MHR system: "Forgive my cynicism, but when a good way of achieving an objective is persistently ignored in favour of a much, much worse way that coincidentally is a really good way to achieve a bunch of other unrelated things, the suspicion must arise that the real objective has not been shared."
