I am using the linux desktop on linux (debian and devuan).

I have linphone working properly on one laptop, and have installed a new copy
of linphone
on a new laptop: Desktop 5.3.0 - QT5. 15.2. It seems to be working but I don't
want to
go through a laborious process of hand copying my settings from one machine to
the new
one.

I expected that just copying ~/.linphonerc would do most of the work,
especially my
several SIP accounts. But it looks as if ~/.linphonerc is no longer used: it
seems to
contain almost no information.

I explored several of the ~/.local/share/linphone/*.db files with sqlite3
and so transferred copies of friends.db and zrtp-secrets.db. I assume that will
have made my contacts available, although I can't check until I have at least
one of
my sip accounts configured.

I looked quickly on the gitlab (hub?) site, but didn't find anything except a
link to
a wiki which was completely out of date.

So where is the sip account information stored, and how do I copy it from one
machine to another? This seems as if it should be an FAQ, and/or ther should be
an
option to import settings under the preferences panel.

Help please! Thanks in antipation,

ael
