Actually, I had looked at the github package and added a comment about this bug on an existing issue. No response so far, but there are very many open issues there. I used sqlitebrowser to look at friends.db and confirmed that all the contacts are there, and, it seems, in VCARD format. There are various discussions about exporting and importing contacts externally, but none that were definitive. That might be a rather indirect way of transporting the contacts across machines. In the unlikely event that I have time to learn about sqlite any time soon, I might perhaps be able to work out why linphone thinks friends.db "has not been initialised". I know a little C, but almost no C++, and that part of linphone is in C++. Again given some spare time I might be able to look at the source and discern what is going wrong. ael _______________________________________________ Linphone-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/linphone-users
