Hello.

I think, Larry's ifconfig looks like eth0 didn't up.

hw_address=00:06:29:EC:F2:97 rel_adapter_no=0
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:06:29:EC:F2:97
        BROADCAST MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1
        RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0

No lines like
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:04:AC:DE:AF:A9
          inet addr:172.16.64.2  Bcast:172.16.64.3  Mask:255.255.255.252

Because of that, i think, route table doesn't contain gateway.

WBR, Sergey

Larry,

What does your route table look like at that point? "route -n" will tell
you. You'll need to see a default gateway entry:
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use

Here is the parmline which is on one line on the tape but displayed here as
pieces.

CHANDEV=noauto;lcs0,0x6a0a,0x6a0b chandev=noauto;lcs0,0x6a0a,0x6a0b

We are able to access these device addresses when we boot the Marist 2.2
linux so we know that the devices and addresses work. Is there a another
problem in my parms?

Thanks......  Larry
