Well OCFS2 is very much beta code yet and it may be possible to
use this as a general purpose file system in the future,
however...

The doc at http://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs2/ still refers to
this as sharing ORACLE_HOME. Now I don't know enough about Oracle
to know what this means, but it does not sound really general
purpose.
