Thank you everyone for your input so far. We have not figured out how to add the vlan support to the bonded interface definitions as described by Pieter. We did however figure out how to define a single OSA port (three devices) to the linux guest without using a vswitch and our tests showed a significant improvement in performance. I'll post some information once we get done testing completely. So we plan on implementing that in our production TSM unless we can figure out how to add the vlan id definition to the bonding definitions and test that configuration.
If anyone knows the definition changes/additions to get the vlan id added to a bonded connection in sles10, please let me know.
