Chris,

I don't agree with that.  My memory is foggy because there are so many
storage array vendors and their consoles are all different.  I haven't run
across one that doesn't let you enter WWPNs manually.  It isn't always
easy to find, and might be through a CLI, but it is always there.

So, I bet you have 2 options:
enter them in some manual way
drag and drop with the GUI as you have been advised
