it installed and installed it just like I said.
sudo yum install java-1.8.0-ibm-devel

You might check to see you have the more obvious RPMs installed, e.g.
* java-1.8.0-ibm
* javapackages-tools
Also, do the find command from root that both of us have shown you (with
slight variations) just to see if it's hiding somewhere.
