I SOLVED THAT SMP PROBLEM ON MY BP6!!!
Evidently that set of boards that I bought was still using that recalled
bios. I'm going
to inform the vendor soon.
Check what bios version your board has! It's at the bottom left hand screen
when
it goes to the bios screen, (memory check ,etc.) Be careful, it goes by
quickly.
Note the last two letters at the end of the version. This is your bios
version.
Mine was "PW" which was supposeddly recalled due to linux compatability
problems. I upgraded to "NJ" which I got from the abit site and everything
works perfectly! It was fixed in a matter of minutes.
