Depends on the power level.

I have a couple complete Mic + fm transmitter circuit + antenna
that fits on the head of a 9V battery.

1 Watt broadcast power.

Wow, I have almost the exact same machine, only with an aureal vortex.

Ive installed freebsd, debian and Mandrake 7.2 all without any hitch or
hassle at all.

And with mandrake, my USB mouse and scrollwheel worked out of the box.

And theyre apparantly not very good at it.

I'm mostly talking about people who are paid to understand what unix
derivatives are all about.

They are independant qualities in this case.

No, I think that you need to *understand* it.

Why are you using debian stable on a desktop machine? You need to learn
all about why debian development is named the way it is, and what exists
in each tree.

Mundane? What you probably mean is that you dont know how to do it, and that
you cant be bothered with it.

Its true. I could have called you "utterly stupid" though. I'm nicer
than that.

Bullshit. Mandrake has been modifying and patching kernel headers for much
longer than a year, and automated security level adjustments, experimental
filesystems, modular USB compatability, etc.

> I don't count that as an enormouse[sic] difference.

I dont either. You dont know what the difference is, AND you have little
understanding of embedded metaphor.

Stupid and ignorant are YOUR terms. Perhaps you should examine why you chose
these terms.

Maybe you should stop pretending you know all about an operating system
in which you clearly have no experience.

Now, before you get all huffy on THAT comment, I could have just called you an
idiot and been done with it. I'm not calling you an idiot, im merely calling

No, it means you're misinformed. And openbsd really is quite dissimilar to
freebsd in a number of very important ways.

Yeah, but 1999 was the year he *began* to systematically
distribute his ill-gotten gains. Before that it was a paltry
percentage of his annual net- nowhere near even being the
traditional 'tithe'. What makes it even worse is the
transparently 'pr' nature of the response, timed and proportioned
to the legal exposure that the DOJ/M$ case generated.

Btw, that's a B as in US 'billion' which the Brits properly call
a 'hundred million'. Among Texas oilmen it used to be called a
'large'.
