In 1988 I bought a new Bronco with a 351. 12,500 miles later the
transmission burned up every moving part inside. A nevada ford
dealership told me I'd have to wait 2 weeks before they could get to
it. I was on vacation. I took it to a small hispanic owned
transmission shop and they rebuilt it in about 4 hours. Worked after
that, but then about once a month things on the engine started to fail,
like head gaskets, oil-pan gaskets... it was just a lemon.
