It's just `load kernel' then `boot'. I'm not sure why you're adding `save
kernel'.
Bootldr distinguishes between a Linux and NetBSD kernel image by using the
questionably reliable method of checking for a magic cookie a few words
into the image. If you aren't seeing bootldr do an erase cycle followed by
a successful program & verify after you xmodem your kernel image, then
there's a reasonable chance that there's no image to load. (In this
instance, bootldr will simply assume that since it doesn't see the Linux
magic cookie, you must be trying to boot NetBSD.)
