Hi. I'm running kernel 2.2.1 with the awe drivers included in 2.2.1, and got
this message when running xxmp.  Also, when I load the awe_wave module, it 
makes a bang sound, like a muffled hammer hitting metal. Note that it didn't
take the machine down.
