Thats not Yahoo complaining. AFAIK, its sendmail on localhost.
Fetchmail fetches your mail alright, and hands it over at your port 25 for
sendmail to deliver on the local host.. If sendmail does not find an akr on
localhost, it barfs. To solve this,
srijan:~ # cat .fetchmailrc
set postmaster "postmaster"
set bouncemail
set properties ""
poll 202.54.15.1 with proto POP3
user mcm there with password somepassword is root here
