The original question was:

User is not able to connect to Internet.

It should not involve running of name server by the user since the Ip 
address and DNS info is provided by the ISP. If after connecting to the 
Internet if user wants to perform DNS lookups the named is required to be 
run. In this case all the configuration files should be properly setup in 
order for it to work. see DNS  - How to.
