It's there already. Check out
http://www.afthd.tu-darmstadt.de/~dg2fef/ax25.html or
http://stud.fbi.fh-darmstadt.de/~matze/ax25.html. These two sites carry
recent patches for the 2.2 and 2.3 series. I've put up a page for
release notes you should bookmark and visit frequently.

The patches are named "ax25-kernel-<kernel version>-<revision
tag>.patch.gz. I'll be moving onwards with the 2.3 versions, so the
latest revision for the lates kernel version will alway carry the most
recent AX.25 code. The same applies for the 2.2 series.

Have a little patience with me on bringing out patches for the
ax25-utils also. A few of them will have to be modified and my time is
quite limited.
