Sorry i didn't answer the TV part in muh last mail.
Does u're PixelView have a BT848? if it does, then
u're ready to rock. there're a truck load of players
there, in fact, they come with the kernel too, in v4l.


But if u're card is one of the unlucky ones (like
mine), then there's a small hack to get it going. A
guy started writing the driver back in 1998, and has
abandoned all tries... i took up where he left off...
and it comes a few times, but gives me a problem with
some 2.3 kernels. But the 2.3pre series have pretty
stable I2C support, and XF4 also has good support for
it, and maybe i can pull it off... i can send u the
driver right now, if u want to play around... i think
once it is stable it can be integrated into the kernel
v4l branch... atleast i hope... ;-)
