Here is what I did ...
used partition magic created a new partition
mounted it in linux... converted it to reiserfs...
copied the whole "/" (without mounting my fat 32 ie
win partitions .... take care of this .. to do this is
stupid) to the new partition
My /boot is a separate partition.... thus no prob else
you will have to update your lilo...
modified lilo.conf to add new kernel with root = new
reiserfs partition.... modified the fstab in the new
partition top have that as the root and the old one to
be mounted as a separate one....
I think freeos.com has an article on the same...
racing to reiserfs or soo.. if you cant find it I can
pass it on as a text file
Note: Do not modify anything in the present etx2...
dont touch the fstab of ext2 and have a separate entry
in lilo.conf for the new partition ... this way you
always have your present system to fall back on
