hi,

    i believe cisco routers would be the best choice. get two Cisco
Catalyst1924 switches (each switch will have 24 ports, so u will be getting
around 48 ports which fills your requirements). The
problem with hubs is that the bandwidth cannot be used for maximum extent
due to lotz of
collisions etc.

Along with these 2 switches go for low-end cisco routers like 1600 and then
u can go for ISDN
BRI connection.
