This also  goes on to break  the *myth* of the  technical superiority of
*proprietary* OSes....one can map boot  signatures of OSes which crib to
be booted from the first HDD on the Primary IDE slot. :)

BTW, please understand that  the technical superiority is always derived
from the *freedom* you have.  GNU gives you both...
