Your freedom is fine and you should have it. But,since you are not alone
in a global jungle, and are part of a group, definately on the list, you
need to maintain the basic courtesy (discipline, rules or whatever is
the right word for the details on how do members treat each other).
That I think is very important.
You see, just by breaking the simple rule, which seems to be the
tradition (norm), you have changed the topic from "changing anaconda" to
"how to reply to mails"
You are yourself defeating the purpose of your mail and hence not
getting people to respond to your querry.
