Technical mail has a /context/. Without reference to that context, the
mail is just confusing.

Ah, google for why Outlook and Outlook Express are bad MUAs. I believe
Suresh (srs) likes OE6 as an IMAP client, with a quoting patch applied.
I will take his word for that.
