ssh tunnel? Can you be a bit more specific please? I would like to know about it more. > >If you were my ISP and I was paying for it I would certainly protest > >against this. > > Feel free, please! I hope you are not taking this personally. I meant/mean that I certainly won't like to have a paid email account on a server where people on dial-up cannot send mails. Come'on we are in India. Most of us are on dial-up. > >Come'on there are better ways to stop spam like maybe bogofilters, rbls > >etc. > > We use them all. > > Now tell me again how you'd run bogofilter to scan inbound mail across > 30 million mailboxes, 75..80 megs per day mail related traffic? :) 75-80 MB??? Is that mistyped o misunderstood by me? 80Mb email is hardly anything. I agree stopping spam is a problem but insisting on domain name is not a solution. Just an example below, The problem again is in my /var/qmail/control/smtproutes file lists.sourceforge.net:some-domain.com Now I want to send mail from some-other-domain.com to lists.sourceforge.net, but when I send the mail the mail insists on going out of some-domain.com which rightly rejects it. In this situation how do I send mails to lists.sourceforge.net? > >(A rich system administrator). > > That's a rare enough beast - so good luck. Yes, I am rich because I don't insist on helo resolving :) You want to be rich too? -Payal -- "Visit GNU/Linux Success Stories" http://payal.staticky.com Guest-Book Section Updated. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
