hi all,
regarding star office,i installed the rpm & it copied
all the files in /opt/Office51.from there,i ran the
setup script from a normal user acct as well as root &
chose local installs.it was installing a copy of all
files totalling 150 odd mbs for each user.so i
uninstalled it all and then chose a net install.now it
kept most of the files in /opt/Office51 & installed
only 5 mb for each user.
also,i didn't enter any user info & when asked for
registration,said never register.'sall there's to
it.pretty breezy. didn't hang or even look like
stalling anywhere at all.i'm running X at 1024x768 at
32 bpp.
now,can anyone tell me how to convert real audio files
to wav files?also can i install a firewall on my
standalone rh6.1 machine with a dialup connection?
