Hi:

I was encouraged by this message to try irda updates again. Printing
stopped for me back in June. But...

linux-2.3.13 +patch irda1 + that bit of code movement from Bjrn
everything compiles
pcmcia works and my ethernet is OK
discovery of my SH688 + DI27 (IrDA) is normal
irdadump looks normal
cu -l /dev/ircomm0
        - no such device
        - nothing in log files about it

my conf.modules:
        alias char-major-161 ircomm-tty
/dev/ircomm0
        crw-r--r-- 1 root root 161, 0 Jun 22 22:35 /dev/ircomm0

On the same machine with
/dev/irnine
        crw-r--r-- 1 root root 60, 64 Aug 14 23:23 /dev/irnine

and linux-2.2.10 + irda1 I can at least use the GSM modem (but not my canon
printer) over irnine.

Have I missed some other change needed to make things work now?

Dave
