Never mind. They are related to SMS. I doubt that my Series 5 uses
them since it doesn't know anything about sending and receiving SMS
without additional software.

I will try the exact same sequence, but I don't think any of the
commands does anything that could remotely affect dialling. 

The software version looks more promising. I'll try to get the phone 
upgraded.
