Hello,

I'm having real problems here...

I'm running Mandrake LInux 7.0 with a new kernel 2.3.51 with all the IRDA
stuff installed.

I've compiled IRDA utils 2.2.10

in /dev/

[root@mars /dev]# ll ir*
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 161, 0 Oct 25 16:40 ircomm0
crw------- 1 root root 161, 1 Nov 1 08:28 ircomm1
crw-r--r-- 1 root root 161, 16 Oct 25 16:41 irlpt0
crw------- 1 root root 161, 17 Nov 1 09:05 irlpt1
crw------- 1 root root 60, 64 Nov 7 11:58 irnine

[root@mars /root]# more /etc/conf.modules
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
alias eth0 rtl8139
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias tty-ldisc-11 irtty
alias char-major-161 ircomm-tty
alias char-major-60 ircomm-tty
pre-install pcmcia_core /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start

When I try and do pilot-xfer /dev/ircomm0 -l

It brings up the waiting for connection so the port it ok but the link never
connection to my palm, however when I do this on a standard serial cable all
works fine.

irdaping and irdadump and discovery all seem to work and produce results
that I'd expect

Does anyone have any ideas what I'm missing here, I've be trying to sort
this out for a few weeks now with no luck, any Ideas and help work be very
very nice.

Thanks
