Ok an update:

I've compiled and installed 2.4.0-test11 and now running with
modutils-2.3.20

I can now insmod all the irda modules and can cat /proc/net/irda/discovery
and see what it is seeing, irdaping and irdadump also both seem to return
valid results..

however....

if I do pilot-xfer /dev/ircomm0 -l

The pilot does not connect... I've set the pilot to 9600 and also the sever
with PILOTRATE=9600.

The only thing I see in the messages file is IrLAP, No activity on link!

any more ideas????

Thanks
