Hi there,

Just getting my Karma going again after installing gentoo, all seems
to be going swimmingly.

I have one small recommendation regarding the udev rule to assign
the karma to /dev/karma. Rather than using NAME="karma%n", at the
expense of libkarma not automatically detecting it, why not just use
a symlink, so that the line in question looks like this:

BUS=="usb", KERNEL=="sd*",SYSFS{product}=="Rio
Karma",NAME="%k",SYMLINK="karma%n"

Works nicely for me.

I also have a somewhat unrelated question regarding using the Karma
under Linux. Is there any sensible way of synchronising my podcasts
using rsync? LKarmaFS presumably would help here, but I imagine the
directory structure being different on my PC get in the way of
rsync.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,

-Nick
