I'm having problems with nfs:
piggy.cite.kotnet.org exports some dirs. /etc/exports contains:
/ junky.cite.kotnet.org(rw,no_root_squash,insecure)
/usr junky.cite.kotnet.org(rw,no_root_squash,insecure)
/home junky.cite.kotnet.org(rw,no_root_squash,insecure)
/extra junky.cite.kotnet.org(rw,no_root_squash,insecure)
/root junky.cite.kotnet.org(rw,no_root_squash,insecure)
I try to mount any of these dirs on junky:
[root@junky /root]# mount -t nfs piggy.cite.kotnet.org:/ /mnt/floppy/
mount: piggy.cite.kotnet.org:/ failed, reason given by server: Permission
denied
[root@junky /root]# mount -t nfs piggy.cite.kotnet.org:/extra /mnt/floppy/
mount: piggy.cite.kotnet.org:/extra failed, reason given by server:
Permission denied
I find the following messages in the logs on piggy.cite.kotnet.org:
Oct 18 12:37:59 piggy mountd[5353]: refused mount request from
junky.cite.kotnet.org for / (/): no export entry
Oct 18 12:38:16 piggy mountd[5353]: refused mount request from
junky.cite.kotnet.org for /extra (/): no export entry
Anyone who knows what i'm doing wrong? Any help really appreciated.
.. and yes.. i know those exports are insecure :)
