I got a Viking PCI modem that has a Lucent chip on it as follows:

(C) 98 LUCENT
Does anyone know if this thing will work under Linux? Do I have to use
pnptools to activate it? Is it braindead? It does not look like a Winmodem
to me but who knows, maybe it's some other type of a stupid beast.
