You have a point. I already returned my Viking and told the guy who
_assured_ me that it'd work under Linux to kiss my hairy... Of couse he made
a silly face and said he has never seen me before :-)
The only problem I have with external modems is that they are so darn
expensive. A simple USR runs for $100. That's a bit too much for a piece of
silicone and 5 capasitors in a plastic box. Whatever happened to good old
ISA Cirrus Logic ones...
