I guess I had best revise my question and make it plainer.
I run debian (2.1 to be specific)  and there is a tkdesk
package in that distribution.  Is this the same as KDE??
Or is it just some part of KDE.  In a previous installation
I found that it, tkdesk, would run ontop of fvwm95 which led me to
believe this wasn't the whole thing.  But as you can see
I'm still a bit confused but WILLING.
