Slackware '96 recommended 8 megabytes of RAM, but only required four --
that was with the 2.0.0 kernel, I think.  :)

I may still have the CD somewhere around here, but I doubt it.  My
recommendation would be an older version of Debian... I think CheapBytes
still has a lot of versions of Debian around.  Check them out :).

Well, a 386 still has many good uses, as a small Intranet server, or
router, or small internal email server or... the list goes on and on.  :^)
