I ran modeprobe ppp, I then used dmesg. This is what I see regarding ppp

PPP: version 2.2.0 (dynamic channel allocation)
PPP Dynamic channel allocation code copyright 1995 Caldera, Inc.
PPP line discipline registered.

Stil, trying to run ppp-on, it says that the kernel lacks suport for PPP.
Any help will be apreciated
