I have done all in roots. Nothing works. Auto detection will not detect
any /dev/lp0-2 unlike in RH 5.6. In RH 5.6 I can view and edit file
/dev/lp1 whereas in RH 6.1 it says "Cant't open 'lp0-2', No such device
(19)".
Command 'lpc start all' yields
Lp printing enables
Lpc:connect:Connection refused
couldn't start daemon
The recommendation of Blais Klucznik gives a lot of messy error messages.
Command lpc status ends with "waiting for lp to become ready (offline ?)"
What is going on? This is crazy. A new program and I am struggling to make
it print.
