There will be a differance in startup speed between SCSI and IDE however it
is nonsence to even think an IDE drive is 30 seconds slower.
My p200 with 64Mb and 4IDE drives takes 5 seconds to load netscape.
My P333 also 64Mb and a SCSI H/D takes 3 seconds.
As a matter of fact some olders scsi disks are even slower than presant day
(E)IDE disks.
