This is what my /etc/bashrc looks like in RH, except I didn't 
have the last line: 'alias which' etc. What on earth does the
PS1 mean anywho? Do you mean I could put a file like that in 
Slackware's /etc and it would stop misbehaving, maybe? In other
words, I should 'source' the file to /etc/skel (for new users???)
