There has been some discussion (and joy) on this list as the 0.90 RAID code
made it's way into the 2.2.11 and 2.2.12 ac series.  Both times they were
backed out, and I don't remember seeing a post here on linux-raid explaining
why.

I noticed this while scanning the linux-kernel archives. This is old news
(August 22) but since I hadn't seen it mentioned I thought it would be worth
a post.

Andrea found a possible bug in the 0.90 raid code, and the more I looked the
less happy I was. Finally Linus thinks merging it is a bad idea. So that
discussion is settled
