Did you have any troubles with 2.2.11?  I upgraded to 2.2.12 AND 
dropped SMP support all at the same time.  Just wondering ..
I also have an eepro100 in this thing, and a POS Cirrus Logic 
integrated video adapter (he does have X running come to think of
it, but rarely uses it, and it never locks up while he's at the
console).

Then again, it's been up 7.5 days now that we're up to 2.2.12 and
no SMP.  Maybe I'll recompile 2.2.12 with SMP mid-next-week and
see if we're back to locking up ...
