In fact, just to be sure I also inspected it using webmin, which has as a nice feature to ONLY show available drives in its fdisk screen. All three drives show up, without available partitions, but when I bring up the details screen, it says VERY clearly: Part of RAID device /dev/md0 as the reason why the drive can't be used with fdisk.
