I'd be (actually, I am:-) a bit wary of the new extra big IBM's.  I got
one a short time ago with very high hopes only to find that they are
VERY sensitive to termination issues -- they can fail even if
termination is set right -- and that they are also timing sensitive
enough that they like to be the first drive on the UW chain.  A problem
if you have more than one.  Documentation is also not particularly
inspiring.

Now I stick to Seagate Cheetahs (high end) and barracudas (where I don't
need 10K rpm seek times).
